The 2024–25 Serie A (known as the Serie A Enilive for sponsorship reasons or Serie A Made in Italy for abroad naming) will be the 123rd season of top-tier Italian football, the 93rd in a round-robin tournament, and the 15th since its organization under an own league committee, the Lega Serie A. Inter Milan are the defending champions.
Teams
On 1 May 2024, Parma returned to Serie A after a three-year absence,[2] while on 10 May 2024, Como also were promoted after 21 years away. The final berth was filled on 2 June 2024, with Venezia returning to the top tier following a two-year spell in Serie B.[3]
