Canapville (French pronunciation: [kanapvil] ) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.[3]

Points of Interest

  • Prairie humide de Canapville-Roger Brun is a nature reserve created in 1982 and named after a local naturalist who is now deceased.[4][5] The reserve features a rare plant to Normandy the Aconitum napellus.[6]
  • Coteau de la Cour Cucu is a Sensitive Natural Space of Orne, 2 hectares in size.[7] It's flagship species of protection are Neotinea ustulata, Dactylorhiza viridis and the Marsh fritillary.[8]
