Scoil Lorcain B.N.S
Scoil Lorcáin Boys National School was established in 1955 by the Christian Brothers, It is located in St John's Park, Waterford. It has a pupil population of approximately 350 students
Harry Flynn is principal of the school.[1] It is a Déis Band 1 school.[1]
The school had no phone before 1989/1990.[1]
The school has a library.[1]
The school started a garden project in 2018 and has several green flags for biodiversity.[2]
The school had nearly 30 teachers (plus SNAs and secretaries) in 2019, when it had as many as 40 different nationalities represented among its pupils.[1]
The school is also inclusive of people with special needs.[1]
Past pupils of the school include playwright Jim Nolan.
