Skenes Creek, Victoria

38°43′00″S 143°42′30″E / 38.71667°S 143.70833°E / -38.71667; 143.70833Skenes Creek is a rural locality in Victoria, Australia, situated in the Shire of Colac Otway.[2] In the 2016 census, Skenes Creek had a population of 164.[1]
The area was named by surveyor George Smythe after his fellow surveyor, Alexander Skene, who became the Victorian Surveyor General in 1868.[2]
