Valeri Vasilievitx Gerasimov[1] (errusieraz, eta ofizialki: Валерий Васильевич Герасимов edo Valery Gerasimov)[2] (Kazan, Sobietar Batasuna; 1955eko irailaren 8an jaioa) Errusiako Armadako Jeneraletako bat da, gaur egun Errusiako Federazioko Indar Armatuen Estatu Nagusiko burua eta lehen Defentsa ministrordea, Nikolai Makaroven ordez. Vladimir Putin presidenteak izendatu zuen 2012ko azaroaren 9an.[2][3][4]

Gerasimov da, ustez, taktika militar, teknologiko, informatibo, diplomatiko, ekonomiko eta kulturalak uztartzen dituen "Gerasimov doktrina" sortu zuen estratega.[5] Jatorrizko artikuluaren egileak, Mark Galeottik, itzulpen akatsen ondorioz AEBetako prentsan proposamen estrategiko gerrazale eta ez defentsibo gisa gaizki ulertu zen hitzaldia zela adierazi zuen.[6][7][8]. 2023ko urtarrilaren 11n Gerasimov Ukrainako "operazio militar bereziko" buru izendatu zuten. Sergei Surovikin jenerala, operazioaren aurreko arduraduna, bere laguntzaile bihurtu zen.
