Michael John Fox (lahir 9 Juni 1961, dengan nama Michael Andrew Fox) adalah seorang pemeran berkebangsaan Kanada yang memenangi 3 Emmy Award dan Golden Globe Award. Dia menikah dengan Tracy Pollan pada tahun 1988. Dia menjadi yang terkenal saat diperankan sebagai Marty McFly di Back to the Future trilogy (1985-1990); Alex P. Keaton di Family Ties (1982-1989), dan Mike Flaherty di Spin City (1996-2000). Dia dilahirkan di Edmonton, Alberta, Kanada.

Pada tahun 1998, Fox mengungkapkan diagnosis penyakit Parkinson pada tahun 1991. Dia kemudian menjadi advokat untuk menemukan obat dan mendirikan Michael J. Fox Foundation pada tahun 2000 untuk membantu mendanai penelitian. Gejala yang memburuk memaksa Fox untuk mengurangi aktivitasnya dan membuatnya kembali ke televisi di Spin City ketika dia masih menjadi bintang film besar. Fox pensiun pada tahun 2020 karena kesehatannya yang menurun.[2]

Fox memenangkan lima Primetime Emmy Awards, empat Golden Globe Awards, dua Screen Actors Guild Awards, dan Grammy Award. Ia juga diangkat sebagai Officer of the Order of Canada pada 2010, bersama dengan dilantik ke Canada's Walk of Fame pada 2000 dan Hollywood Walk of Fame pada 2002. Untuk advokasi penyembuhan penyakit Parkinson, ia menerima gelar doktor kehormatan di 2010 dari Institut Karolinska.
