Dido (Ratu Carthage)

Mengikut sumber Yunani dan Rom, Dido adalah pendiri dan Ratu pertama Carthage (di Tunisia moden). Baginda menjadi terkenal melalui cerita oleh pemuisi Rom kuno Virgil dalam Aeneid. Dalam sumber lain, beliau lebih dikenali dengan Elissa.

Nama Elissa diambil dari nama Phoenicia Elishat. Nama Dido, kebanyakannya digunakan oleh penulis Latin, dan merupakan nama yang lebih dikenali di Carthage.
