North Ayrshire (skotsk-gælisk: Siorrachd Àir a Tuath) er en av 32 regioner i Skottland. Det grenser mot Inverclyde i nord, Renfrewshire og East Renfrewshire i nordøst, og East Ayrshire og South Ayrshire i henholdsvis øst og sør. Den lokale myndigheten er North Ayrshire Council, dannet i 1997 og følger lignende grenser til distriktet Cunninghame.

Området er lokalisert i det vestlige sentrale lavlandet med Firth of Clyde i vest, og dekker den nordlige delen av det historiske grevskapet Ayrshire, i tillegg til øyene som danner Buteshire.[3] Området har en befolkning på omtrent 135 280 mennesker,[4] med sine største bosetningene ved Irvine og Kilwinning.
