Michael Ruse(ur. 21 czerwca 1940 w Birmingham) – filozof zatrudniony na Stanowym Uniwersytecie Florydy. Zajmuje się filozofią biologii. Przeciwnik kreacjonizmu, ateista. Jego głównym zamiłowaniem jest pogodzenie darwinizmu (teoria ewolucji) z chrześcijaństwem.
Doctor honoris causa m.in. Uniwersytetu w Bergen, Uniwersytetu Nowego Brunszwiku i McMaster University.
