A 31.ª cerimônia do Independent Spirit Awards, mais conhecida como Independent Spirit Awards 2016, foi uma transmissão televisiva produzida pela Film Independent (FINDIE) e realizada em 27 de fevereiro de 2016, em Santa Mônica, Califórnia, para celebrar as melhores contribuições independentes à industria do cinema no ano de 2015. Kate McKinnon e Kumail Nanjiani foram os anfitriões da cerimônia.^[1]
