Birinci Thatcher Hükûmeti

Hükümet'in başbakanı Margaret Thatcher

İlk Thatcher Hükûmeti (4 Mayıs 1979 - 9 Haziran 1983) Muhafazakâr Parti Genel Başkanı Margaret Thatcher tarafından kurulan Birleşik Krallık Hükûmeti. Thatcher 1979 Birleşik Krallık genel seçimleri'nde 43.9% oy oranı Muhafazakâr Parti'yi iktidara taşımıştır. Birleşik Krallık'ın ekonomik çöküşünü önleme ve devletin iktisattaki rolünü küçültme vaatleriyle kurulmuştur. Bu hükûmetten sonra tekrar Margaret Thatcher tarafından İkinci Thatcher Hükûmeti kuruldu.[1]
